President Joe Biden got heavily criticized by conservatives following his recent claims that White supremacy is the “most dangerous terrorist threat” in America.
During Biden’s commencement address at Howard University, a historically Black college at Washington D.C.’s Capital One Arena Saturday, the President focused on the threats of division existing in the U.S. As he referred to the dangers of White supremacy, Biden reassured those present that he was not just making these statements because it was a Black college, but rather because of the reality that throughout history racism has divided and torn the country apart.
However, many critics online accused Biden of trying to increase the racial tension in the country. Conservatives on Twitter claimed to have been disturbed by Biden’s presentation of divisiveness during the address.
Jon Miltimore, a Foundation for Economic Education managing editor, argued that for the past two centuries, the Democratic Party had been using racism as a way of winning elections. He continues to say that they are now doing the same thing in the 21st century, with the only difference being that how racism is expressed has changed.
RNC Research’s Jake Schneider also criticized Biden for this address calling him “Divider-in-chief.”
Journalist Julie Kelly also slammed Biden for his statements, claiming that the reason he was saying these things is that he is a “pathological liar” who is being promoted by the media “to help fuel dangerous racial division.”
Finally, New York Post journalist Miranda Devine also joined the discussion claiming that Biden’s statement was “pure evil.”
