The information that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved with a foreigner in a criminal bribery scheme is behind a “highly credible” confidential FBI source, which the bureau used in several investigative cases stemming from the Obama administration.

According to reporting by Fox News Digital, the whistleblower went to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Republican Senator Chuck Grassley to claim that the FBI was in possession of a document — June 30, 2020 Form FD-1023 — that contained detailed information from a confidential human source, which detailed that Biden had allegedly engaged in a $5 million criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national in exchange for influencing policy decisions as Vice President.

Citing a source familiar with the matter, Fox News Digital revealed in an exclusive publication on Friday (June 2) that the confidential human source who provided the information about Biden to the FBI was a “pre-existing” FBI source who had been used in several separate investigations not pertaining to Biden.

The source relayed that the FBI had used the confidential human source for “at least several years” before preparing the FD-1023 form in June 2020 detailing the allegations against Biden.

According to Fox News Digital, the source also relayed how the individual who made the claims about Biden had been “consistently reviewed by the FBI” and “found to be highly credible.”

According to the source, the individual was involved in investigative matters during the Obama administration.

A spokesperson for Grassley noted that the FBI was in possession of “serious allegations against then-Vice President Biden,” querying what they had become of that information — whether it was investigated or swept under the rug.
