BREAKING: He Planned to Kill the Governor?!

Breaking News from Patriot Buzz

BREAKING NEWS: A daring act of violence targeted at a governor’s mansion has shocked the nation as a man armed with Molotov cocktails and a hammer attacked their mansion.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro barely escaped with his family when a 38-year-old man confessed to police that he “hated” Shapiro and planned to beat him with a hammer if he encountered the governor during his fiery assault.

The incident occurred as the family slept following a Passover celebration.

Over the weekend morning, Cody Balmer scaled a 7-foot security fence surrounding the governor’s residence in Harrisburg and launched his attack.

Armed with homemade Molotov cocktails filled with gasoline from his lawnmower, the suspect smashed a window with a hammer and tossed the firebombs inside, causing significant damage to a room used for entertaining guests and displaying art.

Fortunately, state police were able to evacuate Shapiro, his family, and their guests safely as flames engulfed portions of the historic mansion.

Surveillance footage captured Balmer breaking in, and he later surrendered at State Police headquarters after asking an ex-girlfriend to call authorities.

Court documents reveal Balmer’s chilling confession. He admitted that he knew the governor might be inside the residence but proceeded with his attack anyway.

When questioned by police, he stated he was “prepared” to physically assault Shapiro with the same hammer he used to break into the property if their paths had crossed during the incident.

Investigators discovered damning evidence, including gasoline-filled beer bottles and gloves that reeked of fuel.

Balmer’s social media accounts showed anti-government views and criticism of former President Joe Biden, which could provide insight into his motivations.

Outraged, Governor Shapiro discussed the attack on his family:

“This kind of violence is becoming far too common in our society. And I don’t give a damn if it’s coming from one particular side or the other directed at one particular party or another or one particular person or another. It is not OK and it has to stop. We have to be better than this and we have a responsibility to all be better.”

Balmer faces numerous serious charges, including attempted murder, terrorism, aggravated assault, and aggravated arson.

He was taken to Dauphin County Prison for arraignment after spending time in a hospital for an unrelated medical issue.

The suspect has a criminal history that includes previous charges of simple assault, theft, and forgery.

Moreover, the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire quickly responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze, though not before it caused substantial destruction to windows, doors, and interior furnishings.

The governor’s residence, which serves as both home and official venue for state functions, will require extensive repairs.

Despite Shapiro’s calls for unity and an end to political violence, many Americans recognize that government overreach and failing liberal policies continue to fuel frustration across the country.

“When we were in the state dining room last night, we told the story of Passover and the exodus of the Jews from slavery in Egypt to freedom,” Shapiro said.

“I refuse to be trapped by the bondage that someone attempts to put on me by attacking us as they did here last night. I refuse to let anyone who had evil intentions like that stop me from doing the work that I love,” he added.

Vice President JD Vance and Attorney General Pam Bondi both condemned the violence and expressed relief that the governor and his family emerged unharmed.

The swift police response likely prevented a much worse outcome in what has become the latest example of escalating political tensions across America.
