Hunter Gets Bad News

(Patriot.Buzz) – Bad news keeps piling up on Hunter Biden, as prosecutors plan to put his sordid lifestyle on blast during his criminal trial that starts this week.

Hunter is preparing for his second trial of the year, this time facing allegations that he did not pay at least $1.4 million from 2016 to 2019.

During this period, Hunter became a crack cocaine addict after his brother died of brain cancer.

Hunter’s battle with addiction was also a key issue in his previous trial, where a Delaware jury found him guilty in June of lying about his drug use on a federal gun purchase form.

This verdict is historic as he is the first sitting president’s child to be convicted of a crime.

Set to start with jury selection on September 5 and opening statements on September 9, the upcoming tax trial in a California federal court will likely dive into similar troubling details from his life.

Prosecutors may present evidence of Hunter’s lavish spending during the years in question, including on strip clubs, sex workers, alcohol and drugs.

They argue that these expenditures could demonstrate his state of mind and help jurors decide if he knowingly misfiled his tax obligations.

During the hearings, prosecutor Leo Wise highlighted an instance where Hunter’s financial decisions could be questionable, referring to payments made to a pornographic site.

“He describes partying in hotels with a cast of strippers,” Wise noted. “He chose to pay them, which is fine — it’s America, you can do that. But then he chose to take it as a business deduction.”

Hunter’s defense has requested that references to his “extravagant” lifestyle be excluded from the trial.

His lawyers have offered instead to acknowledge generalized “personal expenses” if the court agrees to prevent the prosecution from detailing them explicitly.

U.S. District Judge Mark Scarsi has not yet ruled on this request but has asked both parties to bring any controversial evidence before him on a case-by-case basis during the trial.

Hunter faces nine charges, including tax evasion and filing false tax returns.

If convicted, this would be his second criminal conviction, potentially making his legal troubles worse.
