Islamic Terrorists Arrested Inside US?!

(Patriot.Buzz) – In further proof that Joe Biden’s open border policies have let terrorists inside the country, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently arrested eight individuals linked to ISIS-K, a branch of the Islamic State operating in Afghanistan.

These arrests were the result of collaborative efforts between ICE and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces. Meanwhile, the detainees are currently held by ICE as they await removal proceedings.

“The FBI and DHS will continue working around the clock with our partners to identify, investigate, and disrupt potential threats to national security,” stated officials from the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI.

These arrests occurred in major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia, and involved nationals from Tajikistan with ties to ISIS-K.

FBI Director Christopher Wray has previously expressed concerns about ISIS-K, particularly highlighting the danger of a coordinated attack on U.S. soil similar to one that occurred at a concert hall in Russia.

In March, ISIS-K took responsibility for an attack at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall that killed 145 people.

Wray also pointed out vulnerabilities at the U.S. southern border and noted that ISIS-affiliated groups might exploit these to smuggle terrorists into the country.

During a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, Wray mentioned that “there is a particular network that, where some of the overseas facilitators of the smuggling network have ISIS ties that we’re very concerned about and that we’ve been spending enormous amount of effort with our partners investigating.”

Additionally, the captured individuals were not initially identified during screenings at the southern Mexico border but were later connected to ISIS-K through subsequent investigations.

Last month, Germany arrested seven people for planning terror attacks in Germany and Western Europe in connection with ISIS-K.

Moreover, there have been recent threats by ISIS-K to disrupt a significant cricket match in New York, which escalates concerns about their global threat capability.

The group also claimed responsibility for a devastating suicide bombing at Kabul airport in 2021 during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members and about 170 Afghan citizens.
