Many patriots are shaking their heads in disbelief as liberals went crazy with their latest progressive push, which has crossed the biological line as it proposes legislation demanding menstrual products in men’s restrooms.
This radical policy, which defies basic biological reality, is being aggressively promoted as “menstrual equity” by Councilman Paris Gray and supported by Mayor Brandon Scott’s administration.
This week, the Baltimore City Council introduced a controversial bill requiring all city-owned and leased buildings to provide free menstrual products in every public restroom, including men’s facilities.
The mandate would force taxpayers to fund tampons and pads in locations where virtually no biological need exists, raising serious questions about government waste and radical gender ideology.
Councilman Paris Gray, the bill’s lead sponsor, has framed the initiative as an “menstrual equity” issue rather than addressing the obvious biological contradictions.
The progressive councilman appears determined to ignore science in favor of woke ideology that erases fundamental differences between men and women.
The act aims to place menstrual products in “restrooms and all kinds of facilities, whether they are designated for men, women, family use or single occupancy.”
This explicit inclusion of men’s restrooms shows that the legislation goes far beyond addressing genuine public health needs and instead serves as a political statement catering to radical gender activists.
Councilman Gray stated:
“Access to menstrual products should be as fundamental as access to soap or toilet paper. It is an essential part of personal hygiene, and yet, for far too many people, these products remain out of reach.”
“Menstrual products are not a luxury. They are a necessity, and the absence of access can create undue stress and hardship,” he added.
In this case, Gray’s comments completely sidestep the obvious reality that biological males do not menstruate.
This type of legislation follows similar controversial measures in other Democrat-controlled areas.
California has already mandated menstrual products in various school restrooms, including facilities used by boys.
Baltimore appears determined to follow this radical trend, positioning itself as what Gray calls “at the forefront of this critical effort.”
The move echoes the controversy surrounding Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), who was nicknamed “Tampon Tim” during the 2024 election cycle for supporting similar measures to place menstrual products in boys’ bathrooms.
Critics rightly pointed out that such policies promote unscientific gender ideologies while wasting taxpayer resources.
If approved, the legislation would codify existing efforts already underway by Mayor Brandon Scott’s administration and the Department of General Services.
This reveals how deeply entrenched radical gender ideology has become within Baltimore’s city government, with officials apparently more concerned about progressive virtue-signaling than addressing the city’s numerous critical problems.
Although Baltimore continues to struggle with high crime rates, failing infrastructure, and economic challenges, city leaders are focusing their attention and taxpayer dollars on providing menstrual products to individuals who cannot use them biologically.
This prioritization of woke ideology over practical governance demonstrates why many Americans increasingly view progressive politicians as disconnected from reality and common sense.
