Florida Republican Rep. Mike Waltz once again reminded the American people that the two massive spending bill’s President Biden and the Democrats are trying to pass will completely bankrupt the United States.
According to Newsmax, Waltz warned that while the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill and a $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill, which are making their way through congress, will get “trimmed down,” the Democrats will still get to keep all the “freebies” they want.
Waltz is essentially claiming that the Democrats will expand on welfare programs while making funds for current programs such as Social Security and Medicare run dry at a much faster rate.
Waltz then pointed out how Democrat Joe Manchin, who is one of the only Democrats who is against these spending bills, said how the U.S. can’t currently even afford Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, so Democrats attempting to spend more would be a very reckless decision.
“Sen. Joe Manchin actually said it best,” Waltz explained. ”He pointed out what Republicans been pointing out for years. We can’t afford the Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security that we have now.“
Waltz urged Republicans to make a clear case to senior citizens that important programs such as Social Security and Medicare all hang in the balance if the Democrats succeed at passing these massive spending bills.
