During a recent interview with Fox’s Tucker Carlson, prominent Republican Senator Josh Hawley condemned President Biden after he and his Attorney General Merrick Garland claimed that the Federal Government would “step in” and intervene with parents who oppose decisions made in schools regarding mask mandates and their children being taught about critical race theory.
Carlson then suggested that Biden and the government should focus on more serious issues such as securing the southern border and staying out of classrooms.
Hawley then agreed with Carlson and said the FBI should be working to secure the border due to a spike in crime such as drug smuggling rather than focus on American parents.
According to Breitbart, Hawley then said, “I mean, can I just say you know that you’ve lost the argument when you are sending FBI agents to try and silence voting tax-paying parents, trying to silence them.”
Hawley noted how he can’t ever think an instance in which something like this has happened before in American history.
