This has surprised many people.

In a stunning turn of events, Kyle Rittenhouse, who was recently acquitted of all charges following a deadly shootout in Kenosha, interviewed with Fox’s Tuckers Carlson where he shocked many and admitted that he supported the Black Lives Matter movement and also supported peaceful demonstrators.

According to Breitbart, Rittenhouse also insisted to Carlson that he was not a racist. He told Carlson that nothing that happened in his case had anything to do with race whatsoever. He explained that everything that unfolded the on the night of the shooting was simply about self defense.

“I’m not a racist person,” Rittenhouse explained. He then noted how he supported the Black Lives Matter movement as well as every American’s right to peacefully protest. Rittenhouse then called for change and how there is prosecutorial misconduct, which has become a serious problem in America’s legal system. He claimed to be amazed by how prosecutors can take advantage of someone who is down on their luck.

“I believe there needs to be change. I believe there’s a lot of prosecutorial misconduct, not just in my case but in other cases. It’s just amazing to see how much a prosecutor can take advantage of someone,” Rittenhouse explained.
