SCANDAL: Infamous FBI Agent Arrested Fleeing Country

Red stamp with the word scandal

(Patriot.Buzz) – A massive scandal has shattered the credibility of the FBI after one of its agents was caught red-handed leaking classified information for a book.

Besides this shocking revelation, agent Johnathan Buma is also a vocal critic of President Donald Trump.

Buma, a 15-year FBI veteran, was detained at New York’s JFK International Airport as he prepared to board an international flight.

The timing of his arrest raises questions about whether he was attempting to evade authorities.

Charged with disclosing confidential information, Buma allegedly printed approximately 130 classified FBI files and shared them with associates while writing a book critical of the Bureau.

Court documents reveal the severity of Buma’s alleged betrayal. According to official filings:

“The book draft contained information that BUMA obtained through his position as an FBI Special Agent that relates to the FBI’s efforts and investigations into a foreign country’s weapons of mass destruction (‘WMD’) program.”

While claiming to be concerned about national security, Buma apparently had no problem compromising it by sharing sensitive excerpts on social media platforms.

The investigation leading to his arrest began during the Biden administration, with federal agents raiding his home in late 2023.

Despite his current legal troubles, Buma was released on a $100,000 bond after being charged with one misdemeanor count of disclosing confidential information.

Perhaps most telling about Buma’s true motives is the selective nature of his “whistleblowing.”

According to sources, when Buma raised concerns about Rudy Giuliani’s alleged involvement in a Russian operation, he claimed he was ignored.

However, when discussing Hunter Biden’s dealings with Ukrainian energy company Burisma, Buma noted FBI officials were suddenly “very interested.”

The charging documents describe a calculated effort to bypass classification safeguards.

“Buma also printed nine text-file documents which contained text that had been copied and pasted from reports that were marked in such a way that made clear that the information must be protected,” the charging documents said.

Buma filed a whistleblower complaint in January 2022. He alleged what he called “numerous acts of intelligence suppression” and claimed retaliation for raising concerns.

His attorney, Scott Horton, has denied any wrongdoing and stated that no classified information was found during the raid on Buma’s residence.

The case was filed in the Central District of California and highlights growing concerns among many Americans about the weaponization of federal agencies against political opponents.

While Buma claimed to be fighting political bias within the FBI, his own actions suggest a politically motivated agenda that may have compromised national security for personal gain.

In the meantime, Buma has not yet entered a plea, and the investigation continues.
