Schiff means business. He is going to do everything in power to make sure the GOP takes this seriously.
In a recent interview with CNN, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) warned those who support former President Donald Trump by refusing to cooperate with the January 6 select committee are going to be held in criminal contempt.
Schiff then stressed that those who are on the January 6 committee aren’t “fooling around” about what happened at the U.S. Capitol after the election.
According to Breitbart, Schiff who appeared very serious regarding the January 6 committee said “we have engaged with lawyers that are representing them to try to secure their testimony, but also to make it very clear that those who don’t cooperate with our committee are going to be the subject of criminal contempt.”
He also noted that the committee intends to refer to the Justice Department to issue prosecutions when needed. Schiff then called on everyone who will be involved in the investigation to fulfill their lawful duties.

This isn’t the first time Schiff has expressed his dislike for former President Donald Trump. Just a few days ago Schiff claimed that the Republican party had become a “cult” for Donald Trump.
