(Patriot.Buzz) – In a tragic turn of events, German-Israeli citizen Shani Louk, who was previously kidnapped by Hamas, has been found brutally dead and decapitated, as confirmed by Israeli government officials.
The Israeli government took to the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday morning to announce the identification of Louk’s body. The government’s statement was poignant: “We are devastated to share that the body of 23-year-old German-Israeli Shani Luk was found and identified,” it read. “Shani, who was kidnapped from a music festival and tortured and paraded around Gaza by Hamas terrorists, experienced unfathomable horrors. Our hearts are broken. May her memory be a blessing.”
Further details emerged in an interview with the German newspaper BILD, where Israeli President Yitchak Herzog shed light on the horrific circumstances surrounding Louk’s demise. “I am truly sorry to report that we have now received news that Shani Nicole Louk has been confirmed murdered and dead. Her skull has been found,” Herzog’s translated comments revealed. “This means that these barbaric, sadistic animals simply chopped off her head as they attacked, tortured and killed Israelis. It is a great tragedy and I extend my deepest condolences to her family.”
Louk was among the thousands who attended the Tribe of Nova music festival in Israel, which Hamas terrorists besieged. This led to the massacre of hundreds and the abduction of others, including Louk.
The harrowing footage of Louk rendered unconscious and clad only in her underwear in a pickup truck circulated widely on social media. The disturbing video showed her face down, with her legs contorted unnaturally. Although her face wasn’t visible in the footage, her family identified her through her distinctive tattoos and dreadlocks.
The news of Louk’s death also prompted a response from German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who took to social media this week. “The news of Shani Lok’s death is terrible,” he stated. “She was brutally murdered like many others. This represents all the barbarity of the Hamas attack, which must be punished. This is terrorism and Israel has the right to defend itself.”
