(Patriot.Buzz) – Kamala Harris is having a bumpy start in her own state, as Californian Sheriff Mike Boudreaux revealed he was frustrated after discovering his image was used without consent in one of the Democrat’s political ads.
As a seasoned law enforcement official and head of the California State Sheriffs’ Association, Boudreaux criticized the ad for misrepresenting Harris’s achievements on border security.
Additionally, he made it clear that he does not support Harris for the presidency or any political position.
The ad stemmed from Harris’s 2013 visit to the Central Valley as California’s attorney general.
Boudreaux recalled her visit and criticized her attitude. “In the ad, Harris claims to have spent decades fighting violent crime as a ‘border state prosecutor.’”
“The facts are that ‘then California Attorney General Kamala’ came to the Valley in 2014 touting a years-long investigation into a multi-national drug operation, with ties to Mexican drug cartels and prison gangs,” Boudreaux explained.
Describing Harris’s approach during her visit as “smoke and mirrors,” Boudreaux shared an instance from the green room.
At the time, Harris did not interact with anyone, walked directly to the press conference and left immediately afterward without engaging with local law enforcement.
“I’m disgusted because, you know, she didn’t shake hands. She didn’t say hello. And she’s taken credit for all this work that the locals did,” he said.
Additionally, Boudreaux’s political action committee, Golden State Justice, released a statement criticizing Harris for undermining California law enforcement’s efforts against illegal firearms and drugs.
“As Attorney General, Kamala Harris undercut efforts by California law enforcement officials to stop criminals from flooding our state with guns and drugs across the border,” the statement read.
“Kamala’s sad attempt to paint herself as tough on the border by implying my support – and the support of neighboring law enforcement leaders – is pathetic,” the statement added.
According to Boudreaux, the Department of Justice was slashing jobs at the time of her visit, which contradicted Harris’ narrative in the advertisement.
“A politician crowding the podium at a press conference clearly hasn’t solved our border crisis,” Boudreaux remarked, firmly stating, “Neither has Kamala Harris.”
