Falcon Crest series.

(Patriot.Buzz) – Known for her roles in “Falcon Crest” and “Star Trek,” legendary actress Jill Jacobson died at the age of 70 following a long battle with illness, including esophageal cancer.

The late actress died in December at Cedars-Sinai’s Culver West Health Center in Culver City, California.

Her friend Dan Harary confirmed the news, describing her as “Beautiful, energetic, and positive to the end.”

The Texas-born actress made her mark on television during the 1980s, playing Erin Jones in the popular primetime soap opera “Falcon Crest” and Larue Wilson in “The New Gidget.” She also appeared in two “Star Trek” series.

Moreover, her extensive career included appearances on numerous beloved shows that many conservative viewers grew up watching, such as “Newhart,” “Who’s the Boss?” and “Murphy Brown.”

“Jill’s comic timing was brilliant,” said Caryn Richman, Jacobson’s The New Gidget co-star. “And her enthusiasm and love of life made our time together on set joyful.”

In recent years, Jacobson showed her resilience by venturing into stand-up comedy, performing at The Improv and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles.

Jacobson’s commitment to giving back was evident in her volunteer work with the American Cancer Society, for which she received recognition.

Her dedication to helping others, even while facing her own health struggles, exemplifies the kind of selfless service that many conservatives believe is lacking in today’s celebrity culture.

Furthermore, she once appeared on the Jim Masters Show on YouTube and she shared, “Now I’m so grateful, I just want to keep going, I want to help people.”

Jacobson is survived by numerous relatives, friends, and her beloved dogs, Benny and Kowalski. No memorial plans have been announced yet.

Her final work, a film titled “Merrily,” is set to release next year, giving fans one last opportunity to appreciate her talent and the values she represented throughout her career.
