Progressives and moderates are in a stand off!
Democrat Senator Joe Manchin was recently targeted by Democrat Rep. Cori Bush after he openly refused to vote for President Biden’s new $1.75 trillion proposal. Manchin was slammed as being anti-Black, anti-child, anti-woman and anti-immigrant by Rep. Bush.
According to Newsmax, Bush who is a progressive Democrat slammed Sen. Manchin and claimed that he does not get the right to dictate the future of the United States. Bush then doubled down on Manchin and said that she does not trust him to accurately assess what certain communities need.
Bush then said she much rather preferred to trust the scientists who are warning about the dangers of climate change. She then hit Manchin again and said she preferred to trust the doctors who are desperate for people getting comprehensive health coverage for everyone.
She then said, ”Joe Manchin’s opposition to the Build Back Better Act is anti-Black, anti-child, anti-woman and anti-immigrant. Senator Manchin must support the Build Back Better Act.”
Manchin recently accused Democrat legislators of playing shell games and budget gimmicks regarding the bill. He expressed that he does not want to vote for something that could severely impact the future of America in a negative way.
