Sen. Rand Paul slammed National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci stating that he should be ignored by the American public. He stated that he is trying to scare Americans with many of his statements and that he should just be ignored. His statement comes after Fauci said that Americans need to be prepared to do anything to stop the spread of the omicron variant.
Paul made his statements on Fox News Channel during an interview. Paul stated that Fauci is attempting to scare the American public with many of his recent statements. He added that Americans should ignore him and just continue their regular lives instead of living in fear. Paul said that many officials and Hollywood elites don’t listen to Fauci and still attend parties and events without wearing a face mask. Paul stated that if a person has been vaccinated it is best for them to go back to living their regular lives and not listen to what Fauci has to say.
He continued his statement saying that many Americans are currently living in fear due to Fauci’s concerns about the coronavirus variants. He stated that Americans who have been vaccinated or those who have contracted the virus naturally should feel comfortable going on with their daily lives and should not live in fear.
His remarks have stunned Dr. Fauci and many Americans are moving on with their daily lives. Paul and Fauci have never really been on good terms with the two going into many arguments about what Americans should do to combat the virus.
