(Patriot.Buzz) – Following his father’s unprecedented conviction, Donald Trump Jr., former President Donald Trump’s eldest son, blasted Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution for turning America into a “3rd world Banana Republic.”
His criticism comes after the jury found the former president guilty on all counts in a case that Donald Trump Jr. describes as emblematic of “political persecution.”
This perspective was confirmed by the fact that Joe Biden’s campaign held an event outside the courthouse during trial week, as Biden seeks reelection.
“Such bulls***. Guilty on all counts,” Trump Jr. expressed his outrage in a post on X. “The Democrats have succeeded in their years long attempt to turn America into a third-world s**thole. November 5 is our last chance to save it.”
He also pointed out the timing of the sentencing, which is scheduled just days before the GOP Convention and suggests it is a tactic of election interference.
“Sentencing is 4 days before the GOP Convention…They’re not even trying to hide the ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!!” he exclaimed.
Trump Jr. further criticized the fairness of the trial by highlighting biases, “This case was rigged from the start. Remember, the same hacks in the media demanding Justice Alito recuse himself because of a flag, have zero problem with the corrupt judge in this case being a donor to Joe Biden or his daughter making millions from Democrats!”
According to Trump Jr., the trial overseeing judge Juan Merchan could not be impartial due to his political donations and connections.
“This is what a 3rd world Banana Republic looks like,” he added and stated he sees the case as the politicization of the judiciary.
Trump Jr. also encouraged supporters to donate to his father’s campaign and noted that the campaign’s website experienced technical issues due to a surge in traffic following the verdict.
Echoing his brother’s sentiments, Eric Trump, the former president’s second oldest son, suggested the event might ultimately benefit Donald Trump’s political future: “May 30th, 2024 might be remembered as the day Donald J. Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election.”
