(Patriot.Buzz) – The U.S. Army is considering reversing the woke agenda and restoring Fort Bragg’s name as part of President Donald Trump’s efforts to fulfill his campaign promise to “get it back.”

This decision comes after the base was renamed Fort Liberty in a misguided attempt to erase American history.

The potential return to Fort Bragg’s original name is a victory for patriots who cherish the nation’s history and respect the sacrifices made by brave American soldiers.

This reversal would undo the damage done by leftist politicians who pushed for the renaming as part of their broader agenda to rewrite American history.

During a campaign speech in Fayetteville last year, President Trump vowed to restore the Fort Bragg name if re-elected.

The president declared, “We get elected, I’m doing it. We did win two world wars from Fort Bragg, right? So this is not a time to be changing names. We’re going to get it back.”

The original renaming was part of a broader, misguided effort by Congress to erase Confederate history from military installations.

The decision, made in 2021, was opposed by President Trump, who understood the importance of preserving the nation’s history.

Former Fox News host and current Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has called the name change to Fort Liberty “a sham” and “garbage.”

His stance reflects the frustration of many Americans tired of seeing their history trampled upon by bureaucrats.

The Army is now exploring legal options to restore the Fort Bragg name without violating the misguided law against Confederate names.

One clever solution being considered is to name the base after another soldier named Bragg, such as Private First Class Roland Bragg or Edward S. Bragg, preserving the historic name while sticking to the letter of the law.

This potential name restoration is not just about honoring history but also about a broader discussion of fiscal responsibility.

The renaming commission estimated that changing the fort’s name cost over $6 million, taxpayer money that could have been used to support troops and strengthen the military.

Fort Bragg has been the home of some of America’s most elite fighting forces, including the 82nd Airborne Division and U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

The push to restore Fort Bragg’s name is a clear sign that Americans are waking up to the dangers of history erasure.
