This is so saddening.
In his latest Save America rally held indoors at Washington Township, Michigan, former President Donald Trump took jabs at President Joe Biden and his administration for the state of the country.
Addressing the crowd, Trump began by acknowledging, “The stakes of this year’s midterm elections could not be higher.” He then went on to score Biden’s management of the country and overall morale: “I don’t think we’ve ever felt so low, so dejected. What’s going on is absolutely unacceptable.
“We’re living through the most dangerous period of our lifetime,” he continued. “And we have a President who has no idea what’s going on. He has no idea what he’s doing, and he’s got no idea what he’s saying or where he is,” before joking, “Other than that, he’s doing a fantastic job.”
Following that statement, Trump remarked that “Historians will record this period of history as a catastrophic low point, and a stain upon our once-great reputation.” He then urged the crowd to “get rid of that stain” because the U.S. has never “been treated with this much disrespect and scorn by other world leaders.”
The former President then brought up the 2020 Presidential election, saying it was “rigged” before saying that while the American people couldn’t do anything “to stop Joe Biden’s mental and physical decline,” they could use their vote in the midterm elections to “stop our country’s decline, and we can make America Great again.”
