(Patriot.Buzz) – Marking a huge breakthrough in the country’s defense strategy, a recent video captured a dramatic explosion when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked a Hezbollah munitions depot.

IDF International spokesperson Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani shared the footage, which shows an intense first explosion followed by smaller fiery bursts, which are rockets igniting and shooting into the air.
This happened close to residential areas, highlighting the depot’s location in a civilian zone.
Lt. Col. Shoshani explained the event on social media, saying, “These are secondary explosions caused by the large amount of explosives and from sorted rockets going off after we struck Hezbollah infrastructure in the area of Beqaa.”
“Hezbollah have shown the world themselves how they systematically place these storage facilities in civilian areas with no regard for their own civilians,” Shoshani added.
Additionally, Foundation for Defense of Democracies senior analyst Joe Truzman also shared a video from a different angle showing rockets launching from the struck depot.
The IDF has been targeting what it identifies as Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in the region.
They released a statement detailing their operations, including the targeting of Hezbollah’s Rocket and Missile Unit member Hussein Ali Hussein in southern Lebanon.
Another operation reportedly took out a “terrorist cell operating from a Hezbollah military structure” near Tayibe.
These strikes come after a series of attacks launched by Hezbollah, which has been firing projectiles into Israel since October 8 last year.
On October 7, Hamas invaded southern Israel, killed approximately 1,200 people and took over 200 hostages.
The ongoing fiery exchanges have raised concerns about the potential for a broader conflict in the region.
