In her upcoming book, Melania, which will be released on October 8, Melania recounts the terrifying events of July 13 at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

What began as a routine farewell to her husband turned into a nightmare as she and her son Barron watched the jaw-dropping scene unfold on television.

The assassination attempt sent shockwaves through the Trump family and the nation. A gunman’s bullet grazed Trump’s ear, missing his head by mere inches.

The attacker, identified as Michael Thomas Crooks, was swiftly taken down by a Secret Service sniper, but the damage was already done.

Melania’s memoir does not just recount the events, but it demands answers.

In a promotional video for her book, she pointedly asks, “I can’t help but wonder why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech?”

While the fallout from the assassination attempt was swift and severe, the Secret Service director resigned amid criticism over the security failures, and five agents were placed on leave.

Meanwhile, the former president did not mince his words, as he blamed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for the attempt, although no evidence has been presented to support this claim.
