Known for her radical leftist views, AOC has gone as far as describing the situation in northern Gaza as a “genocide of Palestinians.”
This inflammatory rhetoric not only undermines Israel’s legitimate security concerns but also ignores the fact that Israel is fighting a defensive war against a terrorist organization that deliberately targets civilians.
In a move that threatens to weaken America’s strategic position in the Middle East, AOC is calling for a U.S. arms embargo on Israel.
This misguided proposal would leave America’s strongest democratic ally vulnerable to attacks from Iran-backed terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.
Meanwhile, seemingly bowing to pressure from the radical left Harris has called for increased aid to Gaza. This comes despite the well-documented risk of Hamas diverting humanitarian aid for terrorist purposes.
The World Food Program (WFP) has reported that escalating violence in northern Gaza has impacted food security, with main crossings closed.
However, it is crucial to remember that this situation is a direct result of Hamas’ terrorist actions and their use of civilians as human shields.
In a rare display of common sense from the Biden administration, the U.S. announced it is sending 100 troops and a defense system to Israel amid ongoing tensions.
This move falls far short of the unwavering support Israel needs and deserves in its fight against terrorism.
The ultra radical representative and her squad of progressive lawmakers have been relentlessly advocating for a halt in U.S. arms support to Israel.
This dangerous stance not only threatens Israel’s security but also America’s interests in the region.
As part of her anti-Israel agenda, AOC criticized the Biden administration for vetoing a U.N. Security Council resolution calling for a permanent ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
The resolution, which was rightly vetoed by the U.S., would have only served to give Hamas time to regroup and plan future attacks against Israeli civilians.
The fact that 13 of the 15 U.N. Security Council members supported this ill-conceived resolution only highlights the global bias against Israel and the importance of America’s veto power in protecting our allies from unjust diplomatic pressure.
As protests worldwide call for a ceasefire, these demonstrations often mask underlying anti-Semitic sentiments.
The Biden administration’s acknowledgment of Israel’s efforts to protect civilians in Gaza, while simultaneously criticizing their defensive actions, sends mixed signals and weakens our alliance.
