(Patriot.Buzz) – Unlike Joe Biden’s efforts to keep the border open so illegal aliens keep invading the nation, Texas Governor Abbott is ramping up his defense of America.
The governor’s Operation Lone Star scored a massive win by capturing four dangerous Venezuelan gang members.
Specifically, the arrested suspects are Tren de Aragua terrorists who attempted to infiltrate America.
With the safety of the state and the nation at stake, Abbott’s decisive action proves decisive against the federal government’s inaction.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers intercepted a group of 22 illegal aliens attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in Val Verde County.
Among them were four members of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, a ruthless criminal organization that originated in the Caribbean country’s prisons.
Tren de Aragua is known for its brutal violence and extensive involvement in drug trafficking, human smuggling and other vicious crimes.
Governor Abbott wasted no time announcing this crucial victory against the ongoing border invasion.
“Four confirmed members of a violent Venezuelan gang were arrested after attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border into Texas on New Year’s Eve,” he stated.
The governor’s unwavering commitment to protecting America from the influx of dangerous criminals contrasts the Biden administration’s catastrophic open-border policies.
The arrested gang members were identified as Segundo Ocando-Mejia, Pedro Luis Salazar-Cuervo, Antonio Joe Urruttia-Rojas and Levi Jesus Urrutia-Blanco.
The four men were part of a larger group that included individuals from Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.
Alarmingly, DPS agents discovered that Ocando-Mejia may hold a leadership position within the gang, as evidenced by his tattoos.
The successful operation is part of Governor Abbott’s broader strategy to combat the growing threat of Tren de Aragua and other foreign criminal enterprises.
In September, Abbott launched a statewide operation targeting the gang and elevated it to Tier 1 status.
By doing so, the governor showcased his resolve to protect Texas communities from the violence and chaos unleashed by Biden’s border crisis.
The governor’s proactive approach includes creating a specialized TdA Strike Team and offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of gang members involved in criminal activities.
“Until President Trump is back in the White House to secure our border, Texas will continue to hunt down dangerous criminals like TdA and put them behind bars to protect Texans from this vicious gang,” Governor Abbott stated.
As the Biden administration continues to turn a blind eye to the crisis at the southern border, Governor Abbott’s Operation Lone Star stands as a beacon of hope for Texans and all Americans who value their safety.
