Americans to Illegals: Leave!

(Patriot.Buzz) – Including a notable percentage of Democrats, a new poll reveals that more than half of Americans support mass deportations of illegal aliens amid the Biden administration’s failure to secure the border.

According to the Axios Vibes survey by Harris Poll, which was unveiled this week, 51% of respondents indicated they would support removing undocumented individuals from the country.

The survey disclosed that 30% of Democrats and 46% of Republicans now express willingness to cease birthright citizenship, a privilege ensured by the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.

When questioned about their primary concerns regarding illegal immigration, Americans most frequently responded that there were increased crime rates, drugs, and violence (21%), additional costs to taxpayers (18%), and risk of terrorism and national security (17%).

The survey also indicated that Americans generally favor immigration as long as it is legal, with “illegal” immigration stirring concerns for many.

In the same survey, 32% of participants believed the Biden administration bears the most responsibility for the ongoing border crisis.

Moreover, Americans appeared to be more open to former President Donald Trump’s stringent immigration policies, pushed by a surge in illegal border crossings and Republicans’ persistent messaging.

According to recent CBP data reported by the NY Post, since Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2021, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents have encountered over 7 million migrants at the southern border.

In addition, Biden has consistently shifted blame for the border crisis onto Trump and asserted that Trump’s obstruction of the Senate’s bipartisan border security bill earlier this year contributed to the current situation.

Biden recognizes that the border crisis could impact his re-election prospects, so he has sought to shift the narrative by accusing Trump of undermining the most conservative bipartisan immigration bill in years.

However, Biden has yet to alter the public’s perception of accountability as 32% of respondents in the survey believe his administration is “most responsible” for the crisis, a higher proportion than for any other political or systemic factor.
