Biden Backstabs Netanyahu (Video)

(Patriot.Buzz) – In a backstabbing move threatening one of the U.S.’ closest allies, Joe Biden stated he is “not supplying the weapons” to fend off the terrorist group Hamas if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fulfills his vow to enter the city of Rafah.

Watch the video below.

In an interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, Biden issued a warning against the Israeli plans to take down Hamas’ last stronghold.

He said, “I made clear that if they go into Rafah — they haven’t gotten into Rafah yet — if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities, to deal with that problem.”

Biden’s statement sparked a backlash among Israel’s supporters in Congress after the White House was coy about halting U.S. arms shipments including advanced precision bombs.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed to Congress that the shipment had been “paused,” but a final decision was pending.

Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) criticized the administration’s indecision, tweeting: “Biden’s dithering on Israel weapons is bad policy and a terrible message to Israel, our allies, and the world.”

Biden also revealed ongoing discussions with Arab leaders about a possible future for Gaza post-Hamas control, which could include a transitional administration run by Arab states.

This comes as Israeli leaders have suggested a need for a phase similar to the denazification process in Germany after World War II.

Biden proposed, “I’ve been working with the Arab states, I won’t mention them because I don’t want to get them in trouble, but five leaders in the Arab community who are prepared to help rebuild Gaza, prepared to help transition to a two-state solution.”

When asked by Burnett if this meant governing Gaza, Biden clarified that the goal was to “maintain the security and peace while they’re working out a Palestinian Authority that is real and not corrupt.”

Although Biden refrained from mentioning specific names, the U.S. has close ties with countries in the region, such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco.

It seems Biden’s recent lack of commitment toward Israel is the result of several polls that show Democratic support waning for not taking a firmer stance regarding Palestine.
