Biden’s New High Is New Low for Americans

(Patriot.Buzz) – Marking a new low for Americans seeing the country falling into pieces, the Biden administration just hit an all-time high with an unprecedented surge in migrant encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The staggering amount of illegal aliens entering the country set a new record for January as per the latest federal statistics.

Data from the Border Patrol documented more than 176,000 encounters along the southern border, which surpasses the former record of 157,358 encounters set in January 2023.

Following a Supreme Court decree permitting the federal government to dismantle existing razor wire, Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered taking over Eagle Pass, which is a municipal park bordering the area, to strengthen the barrier with additional razor wire.

Moreover the House of Representatives voted to impeach Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and made him the first cabinet member to face the proceeding in over a century and a half.

The initial attempt last week to pass the impeachment articles fell short, with a vote count of 214 in favor to 216 against, including four Republicans who sided with all House Democrats in opposition.

This time the tables turned and Mayorkas was impeached in a 214 to 213 votes, with three Republicans breaking ranks to join all Democrats opposing the motion.

Confronted with the record figures Troy A. Miller, who serves in the capacity of Commissioner, claimed a reduction in border encounters by 50% in January due to both seasonal patterns and intensified enforcement measures undertaken by CBP personnel and international allies.

However Miller acknowledged the persistent and overwhelming challenges at the border, which exceed the immigration system’s capacity.

Miller further stated that the CBP plays a major role in thwarting the entry of hazardous substances into the United States and noted a significant increase in the interception of fentanyl (34%) and cocaine (68%) compared to the prior month.

Under the current administration the Border Patrol has reported historically high numbers of illegal aliens, with over 2.2 million illegal migrant encounters recorded in the fiscal year 2022 and more than 2 million in fiscal year 2023 at the southern border based on federal statistics.

As of the fiscal year 2024 the Border Patrol has already encountered over 753,000 illegal migrants in the region, which underscores the ongoing challenges faced at the border.
