(Patriot.Buzz) – In his role as Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan is preparing to embark on an ambitious immigration enforcement plan aiming for the deportation of nine out of ten illegal aliens who arrived under the Biden-Harris administration.
Homan, a seasoned law enforcement veteran and former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
His appointment as Border Czar does not require Senate confirmation, allowing him to act swiftly and decisively in implementing Trump’s immigration agenda.
Homan stated, “President Trump made it clear we will prioritize public safety threats and national security threats first. That’s what the focus will be.”
“There are over 1.5 million convicted criminal aliens in this country with orders for removal who we’ll be looking for, there are thousands of gang members we’ll be looking for,” he continued.
The plan involves targeted enforcement actions rather than massive sweeps, focusing on workplaces and areas known for harboring illegal aliens.
Homan believes that by removing incentives for illegal border crossings and enforcing existing laws, many illegal aliens may choose to leave voluntarily.
He firmly condemned illegal aliens, saying, “If you’re in the country illegally, you shouldn’t feel comfortable, absolutely not. I wouldn’t feel comfortable if I were in another country illegally; you shouldn’t be comfortable either.”
“When you enter this country illegally, you have committed a crime. You’re a criminal, and you’re not off the table,” he added.
Critics argued that this approach could harm families and conflate traffickers with victims. However, Homan maintains that his strategy will allow for exceptions in cases of legitimate asylum claims and humanitarian concerns.
Meanwhile, Homan told Democrat governors who might resist the deportation efforts, “If they’re not willing to help, then get the hell out of the way because [Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)] is going to do their job.”
The Biden administration’s lax border policies have created what Homan calls “the biggest national security vulnerability this nation has seen since 9/11.”
By reversing these policies and targeting non-criminal immigrants for deportation, the border czar aims to restore the rule of law at our borders and protect American citizens.
“I promised President Trump when he announced that if he goes back, I go back. And I’m going to run the biggest deportation operation this country’s ever seen because these millions of people being released in this country, nine out of 10 will get an order of removal based on immigration court data,” he asserted.
