(Patriot.Buzz) – Baselessly accusing him of potentially compromising communications with top Russian officials, Senate Democrats are launching a witch hunt against SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
This investigation could have broad implications amid the tense Russia-Ukraine backdrop.
Top Senate Democrats Jack Reed (RI) and Jeanne Shaheen (NH) are demanding an investigation into Elon Musk’s alleged ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Russian officials.
They have sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and Defense Department Inspector General Robert Storch, questioning Musk’s reliability as a government contractor and security clearance holder.
This politically motivated probe aims to determine if Musk’s relationships with Russia compromise national security, especially given his significant government contracts.
However, it appears to be nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to undermine a prominent conservative voice and successful American businessman.
The Democrats’ accusations stem from reports suggesting Musk has had “multiple, high-level conversations” with Putin since 2022. Yet, the Kremlin has denied these claims.
The billionaire’s response to the accusations was fiery. He vows to “nuke” those behind the claims on his X platform, “going to find out who’s making these accusations and nuke them.”
