Dems in Trouble – Lowest in 40 Years

(Patriot.Buzz) – As concerns about antisemitism and Israel’s security take center stage, the Democrat Party is in trouble as a new poll revealed that Jewish support for Democrats has plummeted to its lowest level since the Reagan era.

The Manhattan Institute’s groundbreaking survey exposed that Kamala Harris would receive only 67% of Jewish votes in a hypothetical matchup against GOP nominee Donald Trump, who would garner 31%.

For decades, Jewish Americans have been a reliable Democrat constituency. However, this loyalty has been steadily eroding.

In 1992, a whopping 80% of Jewish voters backed Bill Clinton. By 2020, Joe Biden’s support among Jewish voters had dwindled to 68%. Now, with the specter of a Harris candidacy looming, that number threatens to sink even lower.

This decline comes after the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel.

Chief of Staff at the Manhattan Institute Jesse Arm said, “Many are likely uncomfortable with the Democratic Party’s tolerance of voices that criticize Israel in extreme terms, such as labeling the country ‘genocidal.’”

He added, “This is evidenced by the fact that Jews are almost universally supportive of Israel—a mere 5% of Jewish voters say they are not supporters of the Jewish state.”

Meanwhile, 86% of Jewish voters stand firmly with Israel. Yet, an alarming 62% express deep concern about the rampant antisemitism festering within the Democrat party.

While Harris clings to support from Reform and unaffiliated Jews, she is losing ground among Conservative and Orthodox communities.

These more observant voters are increasingly turning to Trump, recognizing his unwavering support for Israel and tough stance on antisemitism.

Moreover, the Democrats’ problems extend beyond foreign policy. Jewish voters are aligning with conservatives on key domestic issues like immigration, crime, and fiscal responsibility.

They support increased vetting for illegals, tougher criminal justice policies, and reject the left’s obsession with race-conscious policies in favor of a colorblind society.

As the 2024 election approaches, Democrats are more in trouble than ever. Their once-ironclad grip on the Jewish vote is slipping away.

Unless they can reverse course and address the legitimate concerns of Jewish Americans, they may find themselves on the wrong side of history – and the ballot box.
