(Patriot.Buzz) – Potentially derailing her political future, Kamala Harris faced damning accusations as she was exposed of committing plagiarism in her 2009 book “Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor’s Plan to Make Us Safer.”
Plagiarism expert Dr. Stefan Weber uncovered the allegations and exposed 27 instances of copied content, raising serious questions about Harris’ integrity and suitability for higher office.
Weber’s meticulous investigation revealed that Harris and her co-author, Joan O’C Hamilton, lifted content from various sources, including Wikipedia, news articles and academic studies, often without proper attribution.
One of the most egregious examples involved verbatim copying from a Wikipedia article about New York City’s Midtown Community Court.
Harris also stands accused of “pawn sacrifice plagiarism,” a deceptive tactic where some citations mask the true extent of reliance on original sources.
In addition, the report suggested Harris may have fabricated a source reference and copied promotional content from Goodwill Industries without citation.
These allegations, if proven true, could be devastating for her credibility and her chances in the 2024 presidential race.
Weber said, “Kamala Harris fabricated a source reference, inventing a nonexistent page number.”
“The self-promotional content from Goodwill Industries was copied verbatim without citing the source (Goodwill Industries was her ‘primary partner’ on in [sic] the ‘Back on Track’ program),” he added.
Meanwhile, conservative figures have been quick to criticize Harris based on these allegations.
Senator JD Vance took to social media to mock her, contrasting her alleged reliance on Wikipedia with his own authorship of “Hillbilly Elegy.”
“Lmao, Kamala didn’t even write her own book!” Vance tweeted.
As the 2024 election looms, these plagiarism allegations could prove to be a significant obstacle for Harris and the Democrat Party.
It remains to be seen how Harris will address these damaging accusations and whether she can regain the trust of the electorate.
