Presidential Election 2024

(Patriot.Buzz) – Signaling voters want to return to the powerful country America was during his first term, former President Donald Trump is currently leading Joe Biden in the polls across five pivotal swing states, all of which Biden won in the 2020 election.

According to recent surveys by The New York Times, Siena College, and The Philadelphia Inquirer, Trump has gained more favor among voters in Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania, whereas Biden only holds a lead in Wisconsin.

Biden previously won all these six states, which are crucial for his reelection in 2024.

Securing wins again in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin could ensure Biden’s victory if he manages not to lose in states he won in the last election.

Poll results reflect American voters’ growing concerns with the еconomy, cost of living, the Israel-Hamas conflict and immigration policiеs.

Therе is a notable call for significant reforms in the nation’s political and economic systems, with nearly 70% of those surveyed advocating for major changes.

However, only 13% of Biden’s supporters believe he can enact such changes if reelected.

Economic issues are the top concerns for about 40% of Trump’s supporters, many of whom doubt the Biden administration’s positive economic claims.

Interestingly, while some voters said they disliked Trump, they still consider him capable of making the necessary changes.

This sentiment is reflected in his support levels, which are now equal to Bidеn’s among young voters aged 18 to 29 and Hispanic voters—a demographic that largely supported Biden in 2020 with over 60% of the vote.

Trump has also made significant inroads with Black voters, securing the support of 20%—a record high for a Republican presidential candidate since the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

This shift adds to Trump’s competitiveness in diverse states like Arizona, Georgia and Nevada, where Biden previously held strong.

Biden maintains a competitive edge in states with a predominantly white population, such as Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. These voters are generally less inclined toward sweeping changes.

Abortion remains a critical issue for 64% of voters in these battleground states, as they support its legality in most or all cases, including 44% of Trump’s supporters.

The polls included responses from 4,097 registered voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and were conducted from late April to early May.
