ISIS Member Illegally in US for Years?!

(Patriot.Buzz) – Revealing that the Biden administration has been letting dangerous illegals into America, federal agents recently arrested a man with alleged ties to the terrorist organization ISIS.

Jovokhir Attoev, a 33-year-old man from Uzbekistan, has been living in Baltimore while seeking asylum.

NBC News reported that Attoev entered the U.S. through Arizona in February 2022, was captured by Border Patrol and claimed asylum.

Since authorities could not find any “derogatory information” at first, he was released with a court date.

The situation escalated in May 2023 when Uzbekistan issued an international alert for Attoev due to his alleged ISIS ties.

However, “it was not until March 2024, almost a year later, when the U.S. government was reviewing Attoev’s application for asylum, that officials discovered the notice from Uzbekistan and connected it with the man living in Maryland,” the report read.

Attoev was arrested two weeks ago and is currently in jail awaiting an immigration court trial, where the focus will be on his alleged connections to terrorism.

This case is concerning as it puts the inefficiency of the U.S. immigration and asylum system on display. Federal law enforcement criticizes the delays to address potential threats from individuals who enter the country illegally.

Additionally, ICE arrested another individual last month, 48-year-old Mohammad Kharwin, who “is a member of Hezb-e-Islami, or HIG, a political and paramilitary organization that the U.S. has designated a terrorist organization.”

Kharwin entered the U.S. through the southern border and was allowed to go free for a year before ICE arrested him.

HIG is known for attacks against American forces in Afghanistan between 2013 and 2015.

The Director of National Intelligence describes Hezb-e-Islami as “virulently anti-Western insurgent group whose goal is to replace the Western-backed Afghan Government with an Islamic state rooted in sharia.”
