Calling him a “pathetic LOSER” who does not represent the MAGA movement, President Donald Trump ripped into a Republican Representative.
The president made it clear that MAGA has no place for politicians who undermine America’s strength and security.
Specifically, Thomas Massie (R-KY) attracted criticism after blasting the administration’s military action against Iran.
In a scathing post on Truth Social, President Trump emphasized that Massie’s opposition to recent strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities puts him at odds with true MAGA values.
The president did not mince words about the Kentucky congressman, who has a history of grandstanding against Republican initiatives.
President Trump wrote:
“Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky is not MAGA, even though he likes to say he is. Actually, MAGA doesn’t want him, doesn’t know him, and doesn’t respect him. He is a negative force who almost always Votes’ NO,’ no matter how good something may be. He’s a simple minded ‘grandstander’ who thinks it’s good politics for Iran to have the highest level Nuclear weapon, while at the same time yelling ‘DEATH TO AMERICA’ at every chance they get.”
The conflict erupted after Massie appeared on CBS to criticize the constitutionality of the president’s military action against Iran.
Massie has also co-introduced a War Powers Resolution with Democrat Ro Khanna, designed to limit the president’s ability to conduct military operations against Iran.
Massie complained in his interview: “It was a good week for the neocons in the military industrial complex who want war all the time. What happens when Israel gets bombed again? Is Trump going to sit by and say, no, we’re not going to further engage in this war?”
President Trump declared he will not tolerate Republicans who fail to stand strong against America’s enemies.
His decisive action against Iran’s nuclear program has been praised by most Republicans and Americans concerned about the threat of a nuclear-armed Iranian regime.
This is not the first time Massie has opposed President Trump’s agenda.
He previously tried to block a $2 trillion COVID-19 relief measure in 2020 that was designed to help Americans through the pandemic.
He’s earned a reputation as an obstructionist who votes against many Republican initiatives regardless of their merit.
The president added:
“MAGA should drop this pathetic LOSER, Tom Massie, like the plague! The good news is that we will have a wonderful American Patriot running against him in the Republican Primary, and I’ll be out in Kentucky campaigning really hard. MAGA is not about lazy, grandstanding, nonproductive politicians, of which Thomas Massie is definitely one.”
The president’s promise to campaign against Massie and support someone to challenge him in the 2026 primary signals his commitment to ensuring the Republican Party remains aligned with strong America First policies.
President Trump also criticized Senator Rand Paul for similar obstructionist tendencies, comparing Massie to “Rand Paul, Jr.”
The president’s firm stance demonstrates his unwavering commitment to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and protecting America’s interests.
While President Trump has spoken of “great unity” within the GOP, he is making it clear that those who undermine America’s security and strength have no place in the MAGA movement.
