American singer and songwriter Bruce Springsteen has turned against America with his latest unhinged attack on President Trump and his supporters.
Watch the video below.
The aging rock star took the stage in England to call Trump’s administration “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous” while promoting far-left talking points to the foreign audience.
During the opening night of his European tour in Manchester, Springsteen launched a tirade against the United States government and the millions of Americans supporting President Trump.
Rather than simply performing music, the 75-year-old musician chose to lecture concertgoers with standard Democrat talking points.
“In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration,” Springsteen said from the stage.
Springsteen’s remarks continue a troubling pattern of wealthy liberal celebrities attacking President Trump while living in luxury far removed from the consequences of the policies they advocate.
The “Born in the USA” singer has long supported Democrat politicians, campaigning for Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris while ignoring the struggles of working-class Americans who formed his original fan base.
Despite claiming to champion democracy, Springsteen’s comments directly attack the democratic will of the American people who elected Trump.
His assertion that Trump’s administration is “treasonous” is particularly inflammatory and dangerous, especially coming from someone with such a large platform speaking to foreign audiences.
Springsteen’s history of anti-Trump rhetoric dates back to the 2016 campaign when he called Trump a “moron.”
During the 2024 election, he supported Kamala Harris and accused Trump of aspiring to be an “American tyrant,” showing his disconnection from the concerns of middle America that drove Trump’s victory.
The rock star’s latest comments come as he prepares to release “Tracks II: The Lost Albums” on June 27, featuring unreleased songs from 1983 to 2018.
His anti-Trump tirade conveniently generates headlines just in time for his new product launch and European tour, which continues across Europe until early July.
While Springsteen enjoys the freedom and wealth America has provided him, his decision to denigrate his own country’s leadership in a foreign land represents exactly the kind of contempt for everyday Americans that drove millions of voters to support President Trump in the first place.
