NEW: Judge Threatens Gun Rights

Breaking News from Patriot Buzz

(Patriot.Buzz) – In a shocking attack on Second Amendment rights, a Colorado judge has ordered gun rights groups to prove their standing in a case challenging a local assault weapon bans.

This latest move threatens to dismiss a crucial lawsuit defending the constitutional rights of American patriots.

It could also leave law-abiding citizens defenseless against government overreach and unconstitutional firearm restrictions.

U.S. District Court Judge Nina Wang has given plaintiffs, including Rocky Mountain Gun Owners and the National Association for Gun Rights, until October 15 to establish their standing in the case against assault weapon bans in Superior, Louisville and Boulder.

These bans, which restrict semi-automatic firearms with certain features and magazines holding more than 10 rounds, are clear violations of the Second and Fourteenth Amendments.

Judge Wang’s decision comes as a blow to gun rights advocates who argue that the banned firearms and magazines are used by millions of law-abiding Americans for self-defense and sport shooting.

The plaintiffs now must provide specific details about the firearms they own or intend to buy, a requirement that raises serious privacy concerns.

This demand for personal information about gun ownership sets a dangerous precedent and could be seen as a violation of the very rights the lawsuit aims to protect.

Judge Wang’s legal maneuver appears to be part of a larger, coordinated assault on gun rights in Colorado.

The state’s Democrat-controlled legislature recently advanced House Bill 1292, which would ban the purchase, sale and transfer of semi-automatic firearms statewide.

Passed by the House Judiciary Committee on a party-line vote, this bill represents a clear escalation in the left’s war on the Second Amendment.

Although Governor Jared Polis is skeptical about the bill, its mere existence highlights the relentless push by anti-gun activists to disarm law-abiding citizens.

The proposed legislation would make violators face a petty offense with up to 10 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $300, effectively criminalizing the exercise of constitutional rights.

Overall, the outcome of this case could have far-reaching implications for Second Amendment rights across the nation.
