At a time when he should be celebrating and promoting the release of his new film, Brad Pitt is instead grappling with the crude reality of living in lawless Los Angeles.

The actor’s luxurious home was ransacked by burglars who broke in through a front window while the star was away.

The break-in marks the latest in a concerning trend of celebrity home invasions affecting Hollywood’s elite in a city where liberal policies have failed to curb rising crime.

Police are searching for three suspects who jumped a fence to access the property and escaped with an unknown amount of valuables.

The burglary occurred in the upscale Los Feliz neighborhood, where many celebrities maintain multimillion-dollar residences.

LAPD officers responded to an alarm call at the property, located on the 2300 block of Edgemont Street, only to discover the home had already been breached.

“Three suspects broke into the residence via the front window, ransacked the location, then fled the location with miscellaneous property,” police confirmed in their statement.

Pitt purchased the residence for about $5.5 million in April 2023, according to reports.

The Oscar-winning actor was not home during the incident, as he is currently traveling to promote his newest project, “F1: The Movie,” which releases in theaters today.

This break-in is just the latest in an alarming series of criminal activities targeting celebrities in Los Angeles.

Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston recently faced her own security breach when a man rammed through the gates of her Bel Air home.

The suspect in that case, Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, was booked for felony vandalism.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Los Angeles residence was burglarized on Valentine’s Day.

Other high-profile celebrities, including Tyler Perry and the couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, have also been recent targets of criminal activity.

The rash of celebrity home invasions raises serious questions about security in even the most affluent neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

The city that has struggled with progressive policies that many critics argue have emboldened criminals.

Security experts point to California’s softened penalties for property crimes as potentially contributing to these brazen break-ins.

Police are currently investigating the incident and reviewing available surveillance footage to identify the three suspects.

It remains unclear whether Pitt was specifically targeted or if the criminals simply selected a high-value home in an affluent area.

Pitt’s representatives have not commented on the burglary, as the actor continues his promotional tour for “F1: The Movie,” directed by Joseph Kosinski.

In the film, Pitt portrays a retired Formula One driver who returns to mentor a younger racer.

Law enforcement authorities urge anyone with information about the break-in to contact the LAPD.
