Liberal TV Hosts Fear Trump (Video)

(Patriot.Buzz) – Looking to create a smear media campaign to spark confusion among the electorate, liberal TV hosts Joy Behar and Rachel Maddow said they feared former President Donald Trump’s likely return to office.

Both Behar and Rachel recently claimed on “The View” that Trump might target their shows if he were reelected.

Watch the video below.

Behar speculated, “I think that he is so vindictive that he will go after … however he has to, through the IRS maybe, or even through sponsors to get us off the air.”

However, their fears overlook the reality that during Trump’s previous term, their shows continued without interruption.

Additionally, Trump did not take any direct action through the IRS or sponsor channels against his critics.

The pair’s anxieties reflect broader accusations often made by the political left, accusing the right of suppressing disagreeable speech

Yet, historical actions show that left-wing groups are in fact the ones that have actively engaged in advertiser boycotts to pressure networks.

Notably, the work of groups like Sleeping Giants has aimed its efforts at conservative platforms like Fox News.

In stark contrast to accusations of right-wing censorship, the Twitter Files of 2022 exposed how some left-leaning entities actively sought to control narratives.

Journalists Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger’s investigations, which began after Elon Musk opened Twitter’s internal files, uncovered efforts to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story ahead of the 2020 election.

Taibbi highlighted Twitter’s political leanings, tweeting, “Twitter was and is overwhelmingly staffed by people of one political orientation. There were more channels, more ways to complain, open to the left (well, Democrats) than the right.”

He also noted direct contacts between Twitter staff and various agencies and groups pushing for censorship, which Twitter often enacted.

Moreover, recent actions by the Biden administration include claims that videos showing Joe Biden in a declining state were digitally manipulated, with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre labeling a specific video as a “cheap fake.”

The debate over narrative control also goes back to past political tactics, such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s controversial call after the 2020 election to archive Trump allies, which drew severe criticism.
