The company offers to connect people with their “twin flames,” claiming these are destined partners.
Recently executed search warrants at related properties intensify concerns about the firm’s authenticity and ethical conduct.
The Michigan investigation is casting a spotlight on spiritual matchmaking’s murky waters.
Allegations include “coercive control” over community members, potentially influencing individuals’ personal choices and mental health.
The Divines deny these allegations, claiming that the accusations misrepresent their organization’s values and member autonomy.
As part of the investigations, Michigan authorities are joined by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Inspector General, Michigan State Police, and local sheriff’s offices.
This collaboration underscores the seriousness and complexity of the case, which comes in the wake of a Netflix series that portrayed disturbing details about Twin Flames Universe.
“Anyone with information about potential criminal conduct regarding Twin Flames Universe, or their members, are encouraged to contact my office, and may do so anonymously,” stated Attorney General Dana Nessel.
The Netflix series, “Escaping Twin Flames,” highlights the controversy surrounding the organization.

This docu-series propelled the Attorney General’s office to scrutinize Twin Flames Universe closely.
The company’s claim of helping individuals achieve a “Harmonious Twin Flame Union” attracts followers seeking spiritual partnership.
However, former members report manipulation, including being encouraged to stalk or alter gender identities.
TFU’s lucrative courses, priced between $777 and $3,333, add fuel to accusations of preying on vulnerable individuals.
“We were flooded with messages from people who left high-control groups after releasing our series about the NXIVM cult, and the stories of the survivors and families impacted by Twin Flames Universe emerged as the most urgent to expose,” explained Cecilia Peck and Inbal B. Lessner.
Despite the pending investigation, Twin Flames Universe continues to market its services with fervor.
The Attorney General’s office has invited the public to assist with the probe through an online tip platform.
As investigations unfold, the truth behind Twin Flames Universe will potentially reshape the landscape of spiritual matchmaking business practices.
