(Patriot.Buzz) – Donald Trump’s supporters just received amazing news, as recent bombshell polls from seven key battleground states suggest that the GOP presidential nominee could secure a substantial 296 electoral votes.
Conducted from August 28 to 30, Trafalgar’s polling shows Trump narrowly winning in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin’s collective 44 electoral votes.
These victories are critical to the outcome of the Electoral College and are within the margin of error.
Insider Advantage polling in Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina in late August also leans towards Trump.
It is important to note that these states are still very much up for grabs, and their outcomes could tilt either way by Election Day.
This polling trend marks a shift from earlier surveys that indicated Kamala Harris was gaining ground in these crucial states.
Trafalgar reports that Trump leads slightly with 47% to 46.6% in Michigan and has a broader margin at 47% to 45% in Pennsylvania.
While not a landslide, this lead is significant compared to Trump’s 0.72% victory in Pennsylvania eight years ago.
Wisconsin presents a mixed picture, with Trump ahead 47% to 46%. This margin is slimmer than both his narrow victory in 2016 and his slight loss in 2020.
Despite these figures, the RealClearPolitics average currently favors Harris in these three states, with a notable shift in Michigan’s polling as of August 29.
In Arizona, Trump shows a notable lead among independents and has a lead of 49% to 48%, a margin so close it could trigger an automatic recount.
Nevada is similarly tight, as Trump leads 48% to 47% despite him losing the state in the previous two elections. His substantial lead among independents in Nevada is notable.
In North Carolina, Trump’s lead is also slim at 49% to 48%, narrower than his 2020 margin of victory, even though Harris currently leads among independents.
Georgia is the outlier, with Harris slightly ahead at 48% to 47.6%, and a razor-thin lead among independents.
These surveys highlight the volatile and competitive nature of the upcoming election in these battleground states.
