TRUTH: US Marine Says COMMANDERS IGNORED Warning

(Patriot.Buzz) – In the aftermath of a devastating attack that killed 13 American service members and at least 170 Afghans at Kabul Airport’s Abbey Gate in August 2021, more of the truth behind Joe Biden’s and Kamala Harris’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal has been revealed.

U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Tyler Vargas-Andrews disclosed that commanders ignored warning signs and even refused to act despite the dangers.

Vargas-Andrews was among the witnesses who testified to the House Foreign Affairs Committee about the government’s catastrophic failure during this time.

Describing the chaos, Vargas-Andrews recalled the desperate scenes at the airport with mothers carrying dying kids and people suffering from heat exhaustion, all while facing Taliban violence.

“Countless Afghans were murdered by the Taliban 155 yards in front of our position…We communicated the atrocities to our chain of command and intel assets but nothing came of it,” Vargas-Andrews shared.

He noted that some individuals who were turned away even attempted suicide on the protective razor wire as a less painful fate compared to what the Taliban might do to them.

In the days leading up to the bombing, Vargas-Andrews and his team had warned their superiors about the looming threat after seeing a suspect testing an Improvised Explosive Device (EID) and later identifying a potential bomber.

Despite their efforts, their calls to engage were denied. “The response: ‘Leadership did not have the engagement authority for us. Do not engage,'” he recounted.

“Eventually, the individual disappeared. To this day, we believe he was the suicide bomber,” he added.

Vargas-Andrews himself suffered severe injuries from the blast. He lost limbs and underwent multiple surgeries, yet he felt ignored and neglected after the incident.

“Plain and simple, we were ignored,” he expressed. “Our expertise was disregarded. No one was held accountable for our safety.”

Set by the Trump administration and continued under Biden, the initial agreement with the Taliban caused the quick collapse of the Afghan government and worsened the bloodshed as the Taliban took control.

According to Francis Hoang of Allied Airlift 21, private efforts had to compensate for U.S. military failures, rescuing hundreds of Afghan allies and Americans, but many still remain in danger.

This situation has left a vacuum now filled by numerous extremist groups using former NATO bases under Taliban protection.
