BREAKING: Arrest Warrant Sought for Netanyahu (Video)

(Patriot.Buzz) – The International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Karim Khan just revealed hе is pursuing arrest warrants against Israeli Primе Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Watch thе video below.

In a notable move reported by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, the ICC is seeking to also bring charges against Hamas’ Gaza leader Yahya Sinwar and Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

These charges relate to alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity connected to the events following the October 7 terror attacks on Israel and the ensuing conflict in Gaza.

The ICC also issued warrants for two other Hamas officials, Mohammed Diab Ibrahim al-Masri and Ismail Haniyeh.

The ICC’s decision to simultaneously target leaders from both Hamas and the Israeli government is unprecedented, especially given that it includes the prime minister of Israel, one of the United States’ major allies.

This development puts Netanyahu on the same level as other global figures like Russian President Vladimir Putin and the late Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, who have also faced ICC charges.

The specific allegations against Hamas officials include extermination, murder, hostage-taking, rape and sexual assault, among others. Meanwhile, Netanyahu and Gallant are accused of actions like extermination and deliberately targeting civilians.

The ICC’s move has stirred significant controversy, with Netanyahu previously denouncing the potential for such warrants as “an outrage of historic proportions.”

The Prime Minister also added that Israel “has an independent legal system that rigorously investigates all violations of the law.”

The ICC, however, operates under its jurisdiction, which it claims extends to areas like Gaza and the West Bank based on past agreements with Palestinian authorities.

This ICC initiative is separate from another international legal action at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which is considering allegations of genocide by Israel in its defensive measures against Hamas.

Unlike the ICJ, which deals with disputes between states, the ICC prosecutes individuals for international crimes.

The ICC’s potential to issue arrest warrants would force member countries of the Rome Statute to arrest and extradite the accused individuals, which impacts their ability to travel internationally, including many countries closely allied with Israel.
