(Patriot.Buzz)- Exposing the left’s desperations days ahead of the election, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis blasted Democrats for their “dangerous game” of dividing America.
Speaking on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime,” DeSantis did not mince words about the Democrats’ divisive tactics.
He pointed out their alarming readiness to compare GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump to authoritarian figures, a move he sees as both inaccurate and clearly inflammatory.
“You look at what they’ve done from the beginning. Even more recently, their closing arguments seem to be that Donald Trump is like Hitler, like a fascist,” DeSantis stated.
“He was president for four years. What they are doing is really stirring up, I think, a lot of division in this country,” he added.
“You can see why you have some of the problems we have and some of the things that have been stirred up amongst the populace,” DeSantis continued.” I think it’s a dangerous game that they are playing. I think it is born out of desperation. I don’t think it’s going to work.”
The Florida Governor’s comments come in response to recent statements by Kamala Harris, who labeled Trump as a “petty tyrant” seeking “unchecked power.”
According to DeSantis, this rhetoric is part of a broader Democrat strategy to sow discord and fear among the American people.
DeSantis went on to criticize the left’s fearmongering tactics, particularly their claim that American democracy would crumble if Trump were to be re-elected.
He argued that this kind of rhetoric is not only false but actively encourages social unrest and undermines the nation’s stability.
Interestingly, it is not just Republicans who are sounding the alarm on these tactics.
Former Obama adviser Tommy Vietor warned that Harris’ comments could alienate undecided swing voters—a crucial demographic in any election.
Vietor also criticized media and campaign efforts comparing Trump to Hitler, citing statements by Trump’s former chief of staff John Kelly.
