(Patriot.Buzz) – Revealing the true Kamala Harris, recently resurfaced footage features the Democrat discussing how law enforcement would break into gun owners’ locked homes to ensure firearms were being kept properly.

This conversation took place back in 2007 when Harris was San Francisco’s district attorney.
At a press event alongside then-Mayor Gavin Newsom and other officials, she addressed new gun control initiatives.
Harris made it clear: “Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn’t mean that we’re not going to walk into that home and check to see if you’re being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs.”
This statement came even though Newsom had earlier assured at the same conference that the law would not result in invasive checks.
He said, “We’re not going to knock on everybody’s door, we’re not going to break in and inspect…”
However, Harris appeared keen on using the law as a tool to violate gun owners’ privacy.
She emphasized the broader goal of legislation: “When we create laws, it’s not only about creating an opportunity, if you will, to prosecute someone for committing a crime, but more importantly, when we legislate our values, it’s about trying to encourage certain types of behavior.”
Additionally, Harris advocated for a measure that would require known gun offenders to be listed on a government registry similar to registries for sex offenders and gang members.
She remarked, “We need to monitor where they live, have them check in from time to time and let us know where they are.”
Harris also knew that her proposal would draw attention from the National Rifle Association.
She responded with a knowing laugh, “Oh we will. I’ve heard from them before and I’m sure we’ll here from them again.”
Over the years, Harris has consistently supported strict gun control measures, including a controversial government-sponsored gun buyback program.
However, while running for president in 2024, she has sought to paint herself as a moderate.
During her debate with Republican candidate Donald Trump, Harris asserted, “Tim Walz and I are both gun owners. We’re not taking anybody’s guns away. So stop with the continuous lying about this stuff.”
