(Patriot.Buzz) – Once hailed as the voice of working-class America, ‘The Boss’ Bruce Springsteen is now singing a different tune as he is set to perform at Kamala Harris rallies in Georgia and Pennsylvania.
This desperate attempt to energize a lackluster Democrat campaign raises questions about the true motives behind the rock star-studded political spectacle.
The so-called “When We Vote We Win” concert series, featuring Springsteen alongside former President Barack Obama, is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to manipulate voters in key battleground states.
Harris, who struggles to connect with everyday Americans, hopes to boost her appeal by riding on The Boss’s fading stardom.
This calculated move by the Harris campaign exposes its desperation to mobilize voters in seven crucial states, including Georgia and Pennsylvania.
By enlisting celebrities like Springsteen, the campaign admits that its policies alone are not enough to win over the American people.
Still, Springsteen’s involvement in this political charade is hardly surprising. The musician has a long history of supporting Democrat candidates, including Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
“Perhaps not since the Civil War has this great country felt as politically, spiritually, and emotionally divided as it does at this moment,” Springsteen said.
Ironically, while the rock star laments America’s division, he actively contributes to it by aligning himself with a campaign that seeks to further polarize the nation.
His support for Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, is based on their so-called “inclusive vision” – a vision that, in reality, excludes and demonizes conservatives and anyone who does not conform to their progressive agenda.
Moreover, the Harris campaign’s reliance on celebrity endorsements, including a Taylor Swift-themed “I Will Vote” campaign, reveals their inability to connect with voters on substantial issues.
Instead, they are resorting to glitzy concerts and pop culture references to distract from their failed policies and lack of genuine leadership.
Springsteen criticized Donald Trump, claiming he “doesn’t understand the meaning of this country, its history, or what it means to be deeply American.”
“It doesn’t have to be this way. … Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone, regardless of class, religion, race, your political point of view, or sexual identity, and they want to grow the economy in a way that benefits all, not just a few like me on top. That’s the vision of America I’ve been consistently writing about for 55 years,” he added.
As Springsteen prepares to belt out “Born to Run” at these political rallies, it is clear that he is running far from the values and people he once claimed to represent.
This concert series is nothing more than a last-ditch effort by the Harris campaign to distract voters from the real issues facing our nation.
