(Patriot.Buzz) – After witnessing the unashamed Democrat efforts to shield Joe Biden at all costs for months, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump proposed changes to the 25th Amendment so vice presidents can also be impeached.

Trump’s suggestion comes after Biden anointed Kamala Harris as his successor for the 2024 Democrat nomination following Biden’s disastrous debate against Trump on June 27.
During a campaign rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, Trump accused Democrats of deliberately hiding Biden’s evident cognitive issues.
He now advocates for the amendment change to address issues like Harris’ role in concealing details about Biden’s deteriorating health.
Trump declared:
“I will support modifying the 25th Amendment to make clear that if a vice president lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the President of the United States, if you do that with a coverup of the President of the United States, it’s ground for impeachment immediately and removal from office. Because that’s what they did.”
Currently, the 25th Amendment allows Congress to declare a president unfit, which then enables the vice president to step in as acting president.
Biden and Harris’ 2020 campaign included efforts to manage online “misinformation narratives” about Biden’s mental fitness for office, as revealed in Zoom videos obtained by journalist Matt Orfalea.
Speculations about Biden’s capacity to serve rose to new heights after a report from special counsel Robert Hur in October 2023 questioned his fitness for trial.
Hur described Biden as a “well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory,” which sparked considerable pressure from senior Democrats to demand that Biden not seek reelection.
Although he went on a media campaign to show he was fit for office, Biden ultimately announced he was quitting the race.
Before that, the Democrat had said that only the “Lord Almighty” could have persuaded him otherwise.
In his first interview after giving up on his campaign efforts, Biden admitted to CBS News that concerns were widespread within his party about potential negative impacts on other Democrat candidates if he remained in the race.
At the Democrat National Convention, Biden struggled to provide a clear response when CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked him about Trump’s claims that he was pushed out by his own party.
