Vance SLAMS Newsom as MAGA Patriots Cheer

MAGA patriots are cheering with this news as Vice President JD Vance slammed Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) for attempting to pin the blame for Los Angeles’s civil unrest on federal policies championed by the Trump administration.

Vance accused Newsom of deflecting responsibility for the chaos created by his own failed leadership and dangerous pro-illegal immigration policies.

President Trump took decisive action during the unrest by deploying National Guard troops and U.S. Marines to restore order in Los Angeles, effectively preventing what he described as the city “burning to the ground.”

The federal intervention came after local officials struggled to contain violent demonstrators protesting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.

Vance did not mince words when addressing Newsom’s attempt to shift blame, sharing photographic evidence of rioters attacking vehicles.

“Gavin Newsom says he didn’t have a problem until Trump got involved,” he wrote.

“Both of these photos were taken before the president authorized the national guard to go protect our border patrol in California. Does this look like ‘no problem?’” Vance added.

Vance also slammed Newsom over an increased presence of illegal aliens in his state.

“If you want to know why illegal aliens flocked to your state, stop accusing Donald Trump,” he wrote. “Look in the mirror. If you want to know why border patrol fear for their lives over enforcing the law, look in the mirror.”

The war of words escalated when President Trump suggested that Newsom should be arrested for his “terrible job” handling the situation.

Newsom expressed shock at Trump’s comments, calling it “a day I hoped never to see in America.”

However, analysts pointed out that Newsom’s own policies have contributed significantly to California’s deteriorating law and order situation.

Vance specifically criticized Newsom for implementing policies that protect illegal aliens from law enforcement and provide them with generous welfare benefits at taxpayers’ expense.

He highlighted Newsom’s controversial 2024 decision to extend Medicaid coverage to illegal aliens, arguing this was done “at the expense of impoverished and disabled Californians.”

The Vice President also took aim at Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, suggesting both she and Newsom had effectively encouraged the riots through their permissive approach to law enforcement and illegal immigration.

Perhaps most surprising was US Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) joining the criticism of California’s handling of the riots.

Fetterman called on fellow Democrats to take action against what he described as “anarchy and true chaos,” a rare break from party unity on immigration issues.

As Newsom approaches his term limit as governor in 2026 and shows increasing interest in national politics, this public feud with the Trump administration shows the differences regarding immigration enforcement and public safety that will likely dominate upcoming political contests.

President Trump declared victory over both Newsom and the protesters, stating that his decisive action prevented further destruction.

Meanwhile, Vance continues to spotlight the consequences of progressive policies in California as a warning to the rest of America about the dangers of Democrat governance.
