Trump Gets Huge News

Donald Trump

(Patriot.Buzz) – Underscoring a shift in voter sentiment in the unfolding narrative of the 2024 presidential race, recent polling data places former President Donald Trump ahead of Joe Biden.

According to a recent Messenger/HarrisX poll, Trump now leads Biden by 47% to 40% among registered voters, a notable increase from his previous 2-point advantage. The poll, conducted in mid-November, surveyed 3,017 registered voters and has a margin of error of 1.8%.

This widening gap is particularly evident among independent voters, a critical demographic in American elections. Trump commands a 13-point lead over Biden in this group, with 45% favoring Trump compared to Biden’s 32%. Notably, 23% of independents remain undecided, indicating a still-fluid electoral landscape.

In a more complex four-way race including third-party candidates Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West, Trump maintains his lead, while Biden trails by seven points. Kennedy and West garnered 14% and 2% support, respectively, with 11% of voters still uncertain.

The poll reflects a broader trend observed in other national and key battleground state surveys, which consistently show Trump leading Biden. For instance, a New York Times/Siena College poll released in early November indicated Trump’s advantage in pivotal states such as Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, with margins ranging from three to ten points.

Despite these trends, a significant portion of voters remain skeptical about either major party candidate seeking another term. According to the survey, 40% of Democrats oppose Biden’s re-election bid, in contrast to 25% of Republicans who hold a similar view about Trump. Biden’s approval rating stands at a concerning 39%, with a 57% disapproval rating.

In the GOP primary race, Trump’s lead is commanding. He holds a 51-point advantage over his closest competitor, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has 11% support. Other Republican hopefuls, including former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and conservative businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, trail significantly.

On the Democratic side, Biden dominates the primary field with 65% support, significantly ahead of other contenders like self-help author Marianne Williamson and Minnesota Representative Dean Phillips.

As of now, neither Trump nor Biden has publicly responded to the findings of this poll.
