Trump: ‘Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace’ (Video)

(Patriot.Buzz) – Knowing he can eviscerate the Democratic candidate if given the proper opportunity, former President Donald Trump’s campaign is pressing for an adjustment in the debate schedule.

Doubling down on his stance to directly confront Joe Biden “anytime, anyplace, and anywhere,” Trump is calling for an earlier and more frequent debate to get ahead of the trend of early voting.

Watch the video below.

For his part, Biden has not decided whether to debate Trump after a Fox News survey revealed that a significant majority of voters perceive his reluctance as a sign of “weakness.”

The Commission on Presidential Debates has put forward proposed dates and locations for these highly anticipated events:

  • The first debate is planned for Monday, September 16, 2024, at Texas State University, San Marcos, TX.
  • The second debate is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA.
  • The third debate is set for Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at The University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT.

However, in a communication shared with Breitbart News, Trump’s campaign leadership advocated for an earlier debate schedule.

They argued debates should start earlier in the 2024 cycle as millions of early voters would have already cast their votes by the time of the first proposed debate.

The Trump campaign stated:

“In 2020, the Commission ceded to the wishes of the Biden campaign on every front, refusing to move up the dates of the debates, failing to reschedule the debate canceled by COVID-19, cutting off President Trump’s microphone over and over in the middle of a debate, and in the case of the first debate, selecting a demonstrably anti-Trump moderator clearly positioned to aid Joe Biden.”

“Fairness in such a setting is paramount and the Commission must ensure that the 2024 Commission-sponsored debates are truly fair and conducted impartially,” they wrote in the letter.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) also called for more debates and highlighted that voters needed to be fully informed before making their decisions, especially given the extended election calendars.

Mainstream media outlets have also shown a big interest in hosting the debates with an “unusual” joint appeal from ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Fox News for Biden to debate Trump to lessen polarization.
